Welcome to Tioga High School!

Tioga High School is a small, rural comprehensive high school located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains near the North gate of Yosemite National Park. The community is fortunate to have a well-staffed college-prep program with highly qualified teachers. With a student population of approximately 60 and a teaching staff of 5 full-time equivalents, the teacher to student ratio is roughly 12:1. In addition, the school also has a full-time teaching principal, full-time secretary, full-time custodian/maintenance worker, and a behavioral counselor available at school one day a week.

Students involved in FFA are able to attend events and conferences to develop leadership skills to prepare for careers in the science, business, and technology of agriculture. Many members raise animals to show and auction or create entries for the County Fair.

Concurrent Enrollment in Community College Courses

Students can enroll in online community college courses to supplement their course load or explore areas of interest.  Class time is given during their school day to work on their classes. They are able to earn college credits while applying those to high school as well.
